In this article we will dive deeper into the elements that make a Stephex Horsetruck vital for an the comfort of an equestrian team.
This article focuses on a general AKX, STX, and Ketterer Stephex Horsetruck. Most trucks include the accessories that we highlight. However, remember that the Stephex Horsetrucks have several layouts giving customers plenty of layering options. We will explain these possibilities in an upcoming blog post! Let’s go ahead and break down the comforts our trucks provide for both the two and the four-legged team members.
Let us start off in the living room. The living rooms of the Stephex Horsetrucks are spacious and full of light, with windows on both sides and the roof. During the day, the luxurious space is wonderful for team meetings; comforting breaks from the equestrian shows, practicing your thank you speech after a big win. During the night you can close the blinds and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in one of the two spacious queen-sized double beds. Hot or cold, the heating and the cooling are available to you.
The kitchen offers all the necessities to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The microwave-oven allows you to even bake some cookies, if the craving hits. A big fridge and induction stove tops are all accessible in the Stephex Horsetrucks. And for the busy equestrian teams: don’t worry about cleaning dishes. The dishwasher has got your back. This might also be a reason why the world’s top equestrian teams enjoy the Stephex Horsetrucks…
Our Stephex designers have made sure to add loads of storage space to the Horsetrucks. Traveling worldwide with your horsetruck won’t be a problem. Under the truck you have compartments to place heavy stuff like feed, blankets and an extra tack. Even your STX Tackbox can come with you. Inside the truck there is a whole lot of space for food and utensils, as well as the luggage of the riders and grooms.
A good shower after a long day of riding and grooming is key for comfort. A luxurious, hotel worthy bathroom with a rain and hand shower screams ‘good rest’. In the STX New Standard model you even have a seat to give your legs a break. Cracking open the tinted window allows you to keep humidity under control. Finally: a drying rack for your towels (with heating!). Say goodbye to wet towels.
The floors in the horse compartment are made from the most superior soft gummy flooring. The gummy material also continues halfway up the walls. The floors bring more comfort for long days of traveling, and standing in the Horsetruck during the equestrian shows.
As stated earlier, the temperature in the horse compartment is controllable. Hot days, chilly days… neither are a problem for a Stephex Horsetruck. The temperature can be adjusted up to 30 degrees Celsius, and down to 18 degrees Celsius. There are also three large ceiling windows that bring in fresh air from the outside when cracked open. Side windows open as well, bringing in nice and refreshing air into your truck.
White lights for the day, blue lights for the night. Blue lights are easier on your horses’ eyes. They are a great way to bring in some light to the truck. During long night trips your horses get to sleep and claim their beauty rest. For safety, the blue lights also allow you to see the horses on the camera from the driver’s seat. As stated before, good rest means even better results. For top level horses, top-level Horsetrucks.
